Mayor's Message:
The Mayor and Town Council welcome you to our web site. Beatrice is a town with a rich heritage that we are proud of. It is this heritage that has made our town what it is today. The Town Council persistently endeavors to improve the town. We are currently in the process of digging a new well so that we may better serve our water customers.
The continuous efforts of The Beatrice Garden Club assures that The Town of Beatrice is one of the loveliest in Monroe County, if not the State of Alabama.
Training and upgrading of The Beatrice Volunteer Fire Department is an ongoing effort to assure the prompt protection of our residents in cases of fire or emergency.
Our churches offer spiritual, physical an emotional support to those in need.
A heart felt thanks is extended to all these organizations and a special thanks to Lynda Spann for her tedious labors to prepare this web site.
WE ARE PROUD OF BEATRICE.

On Saturday, October 28, 2006, from 3-6 p.m., the Beatrice Garden Club, in association with the S.O.A.R. (Save Our Alabama Roadways) organization, will host "S.O.A.R. with a Taste of Beatrice". Garden Club members as well as other Beatrice residents will be cooking recipes from the Garden Club Cookbook, and visitors will get to taste the results! Beginning at 3:00 p.m., entertainment and music will be provided, and speakers will include various candidates for political offices for the upcoming elections. Events for the children will include face painting, bubble blowing, helium balloons, sidewalk chalk art, and other games. The Tasting Supper will begin at 5:00 p.m., and will include a wide variety of recipes prepared from the Beatrice Garden Club Cookbook. The supper will cost $10 per adult, and $5 per child. Proceeds will benefit beautification projects around our community.
